Hey everybody! Remember the portfolios that we made quarterly in previously? Well THEY ARE GONE. This is probably something totally new to you so before you freak out and flip a lid, let me EXPLAIN. This is our presentation portfolio for our GLOs (General Learner Outcomes). There are currently 6 GLOs in all and our class is required to prove that we have exceeded the GLOs by using specific examples from projects and assignments we have done throughout the year.

this past year in MeneMAC has been very different from what I was expecting and also what I was used to in my VACT (Video, Art, and Computer Technology) class during 8th grade, media class in particular. In a good way, we do WAY LESS work than I was expecting… many people I know who go or went to Moanalua told me that the MeneMACers go to school early everyday and stay late every evening to finish their work, I guess that's upperclassmen or the broadcast journalism guys right? Maybe I'm wrong though; in a way, we have done MANY things in MeneMAC class. We worked on many different projects and assignments from the other classes that were integrated in MeneMAC. I guess I was expecting to have projects in media and projects in different classes but it didn't really hit me that our projects and assignments were actually integrated (i.e.: music video on social issues for Social Studies, online competition/project and PSA for Biology, etc.) Although I'm not the most comfortable working with Final Cut Pro and other programs, I have accomplished A LOT this past school year. I must say that my skills (or lack of skills) were greatly improved on and many new skills were also acquired. Looking back at all my experiences this past year has made me more eager to continue on in my high school life and my life of gaining never-ending knowledge.
