Introduction

11*30*04 Hello! It's almost the end of second quarter. The year is going by really fast, I can't believe it. My classes are still the same. And yes, my math class is still stressing me out, it's still hard to understand.

Because we are independent learners and are responsible for our own learning, I tried to work really hard not to procrastinate. It worked for a while, but as the quarter ended, work piled up and up and up. And I slowly found myself procratinating on certain things.

But I knew that I had to pickup the pace. So I had to sacrific and limit some of the times that was used for recreation to get some of my school assignments done and believe me it was not easy. I hope that towards the end of the year, I will be able to handle more work and responsibilities.

9*22*04 Hey everyone! Yup..it's me, MeL and I'm back again. I'm older and wiser that before...well...hopefully.

It's a new year and so far it's going pretty well. All my classes are going well so far; except for math...geometry is really hard for me. But anyway, I still love doing web pages and reading and writing things for English. I'm also obsessed with taking pictures...I guess photography is one of my new hobbies.

Now that I am a year older and have already experienced one year of high school, I feel that my learning style has changed. After being in MeneMAC for one year, I'm not all up for the read the chapter and answer the questions or sit down, while the teacher talks the whole period. it's just boring that way and you're not really learning to your full potential. I like the kind of learning where we are given guidelines and we can be as creative and original as we want. It teaches us to be independent learners and also teaches us to be responsible.

As of now, because I'm still getting used to our new style of being independent and being responsible for our own learning, it's hard to stay on top of things because we are getting so much work. It's also hard because when we are given deadlines and it's far away and I know that it's not like me, but I tend to procrastinate and that is something that I need to work on.
