Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Trip Prep DAY ONE (and two) WE'RE H-E-E-E-E-R-E! STN 2008 began with FREEZING (at least to us) temperatures in the 40s! Delegates spent overnight on their flight from Hawaii and then, still driven by excitement, gathered their bags and heddled at curbside, LAX, for their Super Shuttle to Anaheim. Soon enough, we'd checked in at Hotel Dinsey and headed out to the park for our first (and only) day of R&R before the conference and competitions began. After check in, it was on to Disneyland, with the team bundled up with sweaters and scarves to better enjoy the chilly weather. The Mouse was very good to the Menes, and all had a great time, unwinding and gearing up for the challenge of the Sweet Sixteen tomorrow! Ms Morita gets up close and personal with Tigger and then with a turkey leg, joined by Mrs. Calistro. Go chaperones!
