introduction.

Well its finally here... fourth quarter!
Freshmen year's almost over and well now I guess I'm a little happy and a little sad. Happy that it's almsot over and that I don't have to deal with any academic or class work, and that I get to take a break. And then I would say sad because ending this year means another step closer to our graduation, yikes. ANND, in a way I dont want this year to end. Freshmen year was filled with many, many memories, so that's why my last Freshmen portfolio is titled, Commit this to Memory,
meaning to say to remember every detail lived.
And of course we all made mistakes this past year, but it's better to make them early on, and to learn from them, and believe me, i've definitely learned from my mistakes. So as i venture onto my Sophomore year, i'll remember the knowledge and lessons learned from Freshmen year and take it to heart.
oh, and of course, this being the last portfolio, it's also a little different. This portfolio includes the GLOs or
General Learner Outcomes.

Conclusion.

Can you really believe it? 10080 minutes, 168 hours, 7 days, no matter how you say it, it all equals to, ONE WEEK left of school. A whole school year has gone bye just like that, and I still can remember coming into Moanalua H.S. and into the MeneMac program. Of course, as most other freshmen, I was scared of starting this new chapter in my life. Scared of what the other new students would think of me, what teachers would think of me, and even how the upperclassmen would feel about us freshmeat. But as the days went on, I learned that high school, was going to be a great experience and that I would definitely take a lot from it. And as I sit here to write this conclusion of my freshmen year, I think of the future.
Next year, yes next year, I wont be the lowly freshmen, but the cooler sophomore, and that means, no seniors that I have made friends with this past year, as they have moved on into better things, and new lowly freshmen to pick on (jus kidding). But being a sophomore means that I have to be an even better example for the lower class. Now I that I think about it, this time next year, I'll be a Sophomore writing a conclusion about the year, and then it's off to being Junior, and finally after that, a SENIOR. And I know, 3 years will go by just like that, so yes, I am going to make the best out of this high school experience.
Oops, I'm getting off track, this conclusion is supposed to be about academia, so here it goes. Well my educational goals for the rest of my high school career are:
1) Attain and REMEMBER as much information from all my classes as humanly possible
2) Remain in MeneMac until my senior year
3) Get into Calculus ; and
4) Make Valedictorian; which means achieve all A's in my classes and then some

Here is also a list of my goals for my own career
1) Get accepted into a Mainland college to get off this island; and
2) Either become a doctor or an engineer (haven't decided on what kind yet)
So there you have it, a list of my goals for the rest of my high school years, and I hope to achieve all of it too. I know, of course, that in order to do so, I have to apply myself, focus, and make the most out of high school,
which I am.
