Project Overview: Who am I and what are my responsibilities in the world of digital media?
Premises or Beliefs
- Digital communication is worldwide and impacts our lives.
- Being responsible users of digital media is our obligation.
- Analyzing what, why, and how media is being utilized will make us more critical and literal users of media.
Objectives of the Project
- To understand the different types of digital media in the world (especially newspapers, magazines, television, internet, and cellular phones) and "who I are" in the media network.
- To be an ethical user of digital media through the skills of critical thinking-careful reading; attentive listening and speaking; and responsible writing of thoughts and feelings.
- To share and gain insights about varied media perspectives in differing cultures through the Hawaii-Osaka partnership.
