For the first quarter in English, I learned how to become a better writer. It is a new experience for me, since this class differs a lot from my middle school english class. Here, our focus is all on writing. What i liked most about this class so far was how our work is critiqued specifically so we know exactly what to change to improve our writing. For the second quarter, I hope to have a better understanding of the difference between general and specific writing.
This quarter, I have learned about four of the traits of writing, and how they are graded from 1 to 4. These traits are Ideas, Organization, Word Choice, and Voice.
